Linking Data Across Agencies: States That Are Making It Work
Organization: Data Quality Campaign
Date: Nov 2009
The DQC will host a meeting, Linking Data Across Agencies: States That Are Making It Work, to highlight leading states that are successfully linking data across systems and agencies to answer critical policy questions aimed at improving student achievement. This is the corresponding issue brief co-authored by the DQC and the Forum for Youth Investment released at the meeting that captures the current status of states’ ability to link data across agencies and provide several state case studies that capture promising strategies to sharing individual-level data across systems and agencies to improve student achievement. This issue brief will be updated following the release of the DQC’s 2009 10 Elements and 10 Actions survey results in January 2010.
