Data Managers
Introduction
Longitudinal data - high-quality data about how individual students perform over time- enable education stakeholders to ask sophisticated questions that get at the heart of student success. This translates to multiple specific actions by data managers to support data-driven decision making. The role of the data manager is changing and critical responsibilities now include activities such as working closely with program staff to identify and define the necessary data elements, ensuring interoperability between diverse systems, and ensuring student privacy protection while also enabling data access.
