DQC Annual Meeting and Progress Report - Agenda

• Description: For the first time, the Data Quality Campaign (DQC) will release the results from its survey that captures the status of all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico in implementing the DQC 10 Actions to Ensure Effective Use of Data.

  The event will include an award ceremony to announce and recognize exemplary leaders who play a critical role in changing the culture around data use for continuous improvement. A panel discussion will highlight the progress made and lessons learned from the winners of the three annual award categories: State Policymaker, State Data Director, and District Data Leader. Governor Bob Wise, President of the Alliance for Excellent Education will lead this discussion, and a Congressional response to this panel will include Lindsay Hunsicker, Senior Education Policy Advisor - Senator Mike Enzi (R-WY) U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Labor, Education and Pensions and Maria Worthen, Education Policy Advisor - Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA) U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Labor, Education and Pensions.
