P-20 Alignment

Many states are raising standards in K-12 to ensure that graduates meet college readiness standards so students can move seamlessly from high school to college with the skills necessary to be successful. Aligning policies and standards is vital and the alignment of data systems between K-12 and postsecondary is a critical part of the process. Aligning systems requires discussions about the identifiers used to link student data across systems and discussions of standards and data definitions.
