State of the Nation in 2007-08

While many states have taken steps in the last few years to expand their data collection systems, most states are a long way from having the ten essential elements of a student-level P-12 longitudinal data system. The two charts below display the percent of state with each element and the percent by the total number of elements in the state. You can click on each bar in either chart to get a list of the states reflected by that bar.
